Spelling City

Hi Folks,

I am just getting ready for the upcoming school year. Have you heard of Spelling City? It is a great resource and this year, it contains all of our reading series spelling and vocabulary lists! I am so excited about that. In any case, I put together this presentation on how to invite students, import lists, and add assignments to students.  Check it out!

Technology in the classroom is amazing! Our district is currently going 1:1 with chromebooks, iPads, and Nooks! I have long known many of the amazing uses for chromebooks in the classroom and now my dream has come to me. I started using chromebooks on a 1:1 basis with my 4th grade classroom last school year. They were so excited to receive them and I have been able to differentiate so much more and was able to fully engage them in the classroom. I am really looking forward to implementing them even more this next school year. I would also like to use this page as a resource for others to help them navigate the Chrome World. For now, I have more PD at #KidVencher this afternoon! I can't wait to learn some more!
